“Bagged”, a series of paintings on unwanted found recycled (you might say upcycled) fashion bags. They were there on the street, just thrown away, a collection of them, and well if things are just going to be wasted without a thought (not even put in the recycling bin, that is a touch depressing) then leaves are going to grow on them. Here’s 21 of them, painted in July 2024, there might be more (indeed, more were painted in August and September), I find a touch of pleasure in painting on things that are heading for landfill… There will be more, I found this 21 but I had been saving others and not quite got around to doing anything with them…
