This week it is mostly about installation pieces out in the woods over in Leytonstone, London E11 and a couple of pieces including the piece above, installed as part of the “Freedom” group Show in the woods behind the Wanstead Quaker Meeting House. There’s more about the show and the other art/artists involved via this link – ORGAN THING: It is all rather uncomplicated, Freedom, installation and sculpture out in the trees and the birdsong of Leytonstone… – the Freedom show, curated by Mary Knight and Brett Banks. is part of the Leytonstone Arts Trail.

My two installations are on painted pieces of found unwanted pieces of wood picked up off the street (or found in the grounds), including the square up above, a painting on a piece of discarded wooden packaging that just couldn’t be left on the street to go to landfill.

There are photos here of my pieces (the red ribbon is the work of Emma Harvey), do click on am image to see it in full or to run the slide show.
