Mixtape No.4 opened last Tuesday evening, our third Cultivate on-line exhibition of this current Spring Season, our fourth Mixtape group show and our 29th online Cultivate show in all (there has now been 184 Cultivate events, exhibitions, shows or whatever you wish to call them, the first was in 2011), I say “our third Cultivate on-line exhibition”, because, as you probably know, Cultivate was founded by myself and fellow artist Emma Harvey, these are “our” shows. And as I’ve said before, curating and Cultivating is a big big part of my part of my art practice, the pulling together again of another 42 artists for this latest exhibition is as importat to me as my latest paintings are. This website is mostly dedicate to my own actual art, I try to keep it clear of Cultivate things, I do mention it here again today though and offer these couple of flavours of the art I have in Mixtape 4, do please do have a look at the whole thing, rather a lot of time and effort goes into these shows….
