There are new paintings, more blue doors, continued thoughts of May in October, that particular blue door, trying to distil things, simplify, economy, trying to just enjoy the paint, the marks in the in the paint, trying not to overwork things while still working things just enough, finding the balance and not tipping it over…  

And for the first day of November the talk was still of the door, that door and what should be worn, swallow hard and believe it true,
