Two new paintings, quick ones…. the first, a new painting on a found piece of wooden board, a good piece of wooden board left on the street can’t be ignored. This one was found, cleaned up and painted on. Recycling and reusing is an important part of what I do as an artist. Both paintings can currently be found via the Cultivate online shop

A found piece of wood, already painted red, couple of staples stuck in to it. it had to be picked up, couldn’t be left to go into landfill, it had a certain quality to it. So I took it home, cleaned it up, painted on it, grew a leaf (tag) on it, made it ready to be hung, gave it a thin coat of gloss varnish and now it needs a home…
