Yeah, I know, this website has been rather neglected this year, it isn’t that there’s a lack of new work to post, there’s always new work, there’s always lots of new work both large paintings and smaller pieces, it isn’t that there hasn’t been time, maybe it is something to do with the constant demand to be posting, the ever present demand that “new content is posted”, that an artist must be a “content creator”. Sometimes there needs to be time spent just painting, just thinking about painting rather than thinking about marketing or content or any of those other things that are demanded. I expect in the coming days I shall give in and post a lot of what has been happening in terms of my art this Summer, then again, maybe I won’t? For now here’s three Ten paintings concluded a couple of days ago, the still ongoing series of acrylic paintings always on on 10cm square. The 1125th piece in the ongoing series of same size paintings was concluded last Thursday, I don’t expect the series will end anytime soon, although, they might get blacker.
