Of course as much as it was fun to find those objects yesterday (and in a rather tongue in cheek manner) put them together on the plinth in the gallery for a day, I am not, and nor will I ever be, a sculptor, a 3d person. That was just fun and yes art should be fun, and found objects put together have a perfect right to be in a gallery, I am not a 3d person, I am not a sculptor or an installationist, I am a painter, I paint things…  true I do paint on found things and I can’t pass a skip without looking to see if there’s anything to paint on in there, and I do like leaving things I;ve painted on out on the street or in bus seats or in train stations for people to find…

All change at Cultivate today, the IT IS GREEN show comes down and up goes RIGID ready for tomorrow night’s opening. I do hope all you artists are going to turn uo on time to deliver/collect your art…. I shall be in there waiting for you, well outside waiting for you while painting on canvas or something…. I’ll finish this latter, I had a point to make, but there’s no time left now, got to go to the gallery and spend the say herding artists and their art, I’ll write this blog thing later, I wanted to tell you about the vinyl show and get you thinking about how you are going to take part…   Right then, off to Vyner Street, wonder what I’ll find on the way today?
