#365ArtDrop18 – A second year of ArtDrops, another 365 carefully placed pieces of art, never dropped, always carefully hung on the streets for people to take should they wish to. 365 paintings on things found on the street, painted on, and then put back out on the street during 2018.
On January 1st, a first piece, a leaf, the first of 365 artdrop pieces of 2018 and the final painting of 2017 painted on a piece of found recycled hardboard in the final hour of what is now last year, painted on and left out for someone to take should they wish to. #365ArtDrop18 1/365 left on the Hackney road, East London on New year’s Day.
The hashtag – #365ArtDrop18 is to en courage people to become part of the year long piece of work, the hope is that people taking the pieces will post photos of themselves with the pieces they find and take so that we can find out where the unwanted recycled material has got to…
