The ongoing matter of the Ten paintings, there really isn’t too much that can be said other than the series goes on, 101 days and 101 daily concluded paintings now, I do keep saying the same thing about them, I do keep repeating myself in terms of the words about the paintings – not in terms of the paintings though, it doesn’t feel like things are being repeated in terms of the paintings. Today is day 101 then, one painting brought to a conclusion every day, always on a 10cm square canvas. As always the paintings are offered for sale at a price of just £10, always about the ten, the latest painiting have just been added to the on-line shop. I do hope people will respect the notion of ten, I did see one or two of the recent paintings sold via the Art Car Boot Fair being sold on rather quickly at inflated prices which of course is the prerogative of the owner of the piece but not really in the spirit of it all.
