On with the daily cultivation, the notion of a painting brought to a conclusion on every day of the year…

The notion of a smaller painting brought to a finished state every day of the year during 2017 goes on, 44 days now. Today’s piece of fresh leaf growth on an unwanted recycled piece of hardboard is a piece called  “Herb Robert, Leafhearted…”, 30cm x 20cm.  Acrylic, spray paint, brush work, gold paint, marker pen, varnish The 44th painting of 2017 on the 44th day of 2017 and now on sale, as all 44 pieces have been (when they don’t sell before I have time to put them in the shop window as part 43 did on Sunday) via the Cultivate on-line shop

Several of the daily pieces were up on the wall at Cultivate’s Fragile group show at BSMT Space over in Dalston, London N16 over the weekend, more about that in these pages in a while, it was rather and intense and eventful week, there’s lots of photos and words over on the Organ pages should you be curious

Some of the daily pieces at the Fragile show… Feb 2017

Let me put by curators head on for a moment and say a big big thanks then to all who came along to the Fragile show, thanks to all the artists, thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came to the very busy opening (I wouldn’t have gone out to explore art on a night like that!), thanks to everyone who came along over the weekend, thanks to the ambulance service, the performers, the team at BSMT Space, the fruit dealers of Ridley Road Market and to everyone who made it such a successful short sharp pro-active art show. Artists coming together and doing it ourselves, just how it should be… on with the next one, more Cultivating soon, watch this space… Thanks everyone
