This is an image from one year ago, a photo of a piece painted back at the end of last year. it came up via my social media today, I’d almost forgotten about it, all wrapped up and buried under the newer work that clutters up the studio here.  This piece really does need a home now before I break the glass or something. The piece is simple called “A Leaf”, (2016) – Acrylic, spray paint, gloss varnish 105cm x 45cm, painted on board, in gold frame and under glass. All A little too slick for my liking, I prefer a leaf to be running free rather than all restrained in a slick fancy frame…
