Day 73 in terms of the ongoing series of 10cm square Ten paintings, I am getting asked about where people can buy the most recent ones, yes they are still all on sale at what some might say is a ridiculous a price of just ten pounds, that will remain the case for as long as the series goes on, (the series is open ended, there are no plans to stop or any target in terms of a number, I shall carry on for as long as it feels positive to do so). The September paintings were being made available first via the Art Car Boot Fair, the fair should have happened on-line last Sunday, technical issues means the fair will now happen on Sunday October 4th, and so yes, the painting made in September will be offered first via the Fair. The Art Car Boot Fair has always been an artist-run thing and the organisers, unlike most galleries and especially fairs who tend to charge artists a fortune to take part, have always treated us artists right. I;m happy to support the Art Car Boot Fair, the September Ten paintings, including the new ones that will emerge this month, will all be available first via the fair on October 4th. Most of the early ones have now sold, but there are a few left and available via the Cultivate on-line shop. I did spend last night re-stocking the shop with some of my other recent paintings, some new skyline paintings, some smaller skyline paintings, some of the recent Stripe paintings. I will be adding more to the shop today and in the next few days, there are a number of paintings from earlier in the year that never made it to the shop, in “normal” times work would have just gone straight into the next gallery show, there, as we know, there aren’t really any gallery shows for now. if you’ve seen anything recently that isn’t up there in the shop, please do ask. And yes I know the Cultivate shop is mostly my work right now, Emma Harvey will, I imagine, want to add some new work after the Art Car Boot Fair has happened and we will be adding a few pieces from other artists again soon….
