Another leaf left hanging, they are still regularly left, sometimes without a mention. A left painted on something found, something thrown out and probably heading for landfill,in this case a piece of wooden flooring pick out of a Hackney skip. material found, picked up, cleaned up, painted on and them left hanging out on the street for someone to just take, no big fan fair, no print release to go with it, nothing on sale in a gallery around the corner, no publicity stunt, just a piece of art, street art if you wish, a piece of art just left there for someone to take. I am picky about where I put them, this one was left under the curve of the railway that was recently revealed by the clearing of a building in front of one of the arches. This painting was left last Sunday, I don’t know what happened to it, I quite often don’t get to find out, it it good when we do hear something, did it end up in landfill anyway? Is it on someone’s wall? Did someone take it and give it to someone else? Who knows?
