There was a fifth painting of the 2022 Amarylis, actually there’s a sixth as well but that sixth one is a bigger painting that is still work in progress right now. The fifth painting of February 2022 was the last of the serries, this sixth goes somewhere else with it. At the time of completion I said on Instagram “This Year’s Amaryllis, Part 5″ (2022) – Acrylic on canvas, 40cm x 50cm – a new painting that emerged in the early hours of this morning, the fifth in a series of paintings that started last weekend when the flowers hadn’t opened..”

The five are all together here, I have been asked to sell the paintings but all five feel like they need to stay together right now as one whole thing.
