Not painted an Electric Painting for a bit, it is just an occasional thing these days. Today I had a quick listen to X Marks The Heart and painted a 42nd piece in the ongoing series of Electric Paintings. The painting is the latest in a series of fast interpretations of an album cover painted while listening to the album in question in the studio (very loudly) just once. Rule for this series of paintings is that once the album ends the painting must end.
This painting is an interpretation of the Peter Hammill album X Marks The Heart, an album from 1996 that allowed 50 minutes of painting time. Once the end of the album was reached then the painting had to finish. Just the pure pleasure of a very loud album and paint and no time to mess around or think too much about it, just a reaction…
