“Untitled – Stripes No.14” (October 2020) – Acrylic, gloss varnish on canvas, 20cm x 20cm x 1cm

I did finish painting these latest two Stars and Stripes paintings last night, well in the early hours of this morning actually, two more nods towards pop art, two paintings painted together as we watch the horror of Trump and the US election from all points of the globe, please do dump him America, never has the rest of the world needed you to do the right thing like we do now, if you have a vote do please use it, for the good of you, me, and pretty much everyone everywhere, the man is insane, he’s dangerous, he’ll destroy us all. The other painting there is the 92nd daily concluded Ten painting, today’s painting

And well, the ongoing series of Ten paintings is very much still ongoing, it started 92 days ago now, I never put a number on it, just a painting on a 10cm square canvas brought to a conclusion every day, I am still enjoying it, it is still challenging me, and I am enjoying the interaction and engagement with people every day while we’re in some kind maybe-lockdown, I like the size, i like the price, I hope I can keep it like that.

“Ten:91(Never)” – 10th October 2020 – Acrylic on canvas, 10cm x 10cm x 1cm

Today was day 92 in terms of the Tens then, they’re not daily paintings, not done in a day, just one finished everyday, i can see half a dozen pieces in ptogress over there in the table, alongside one or two larger paintings that are progressing right now. Hopefully we can get back to physical gallery shows and such at some point soon, this Art Car Boot Fair thing that I have been going on about maybe a little too much (it closes at 6pm today, Sunday 11th) really has been a lifeline this week so big thanks everyone. Hopefully a physical show soon, a new “Leader of the free world” soon and maybe Boris will do the right thing and just go, yeah tight, pigs might fly…
