“Untitled – Stripes No24”- (February 2021) – A recurring theme explored one more time. Did they really let him off? Did they not have the guts? Painted while watching the impeachment hearings. And now made available via the lifeline that is the #artistsupportpledge where we artists offer work for sale at a price of £200 or less and pledge to spend 20% of money made on the work of other artists taking part in the pledge. This new painting is offered at a price of £50 plus postage. Please do send a private message if you wish to know more about this or indeed any other painting you might spy, I am still operating in-line with the notions of the Cheap Art Manifesto. This one is now available via the Cultivate Gallery on-line shop

Someone did react to the painting yesterday when it was posted on Instagram by saying “I still can’t believe what they’ve replaced him with. There’ll be a war pretty soon, so you’ll be painting stars n stripes for a while yet (that’s good news for us)”

Well frankly anything or anyone other than Trump (with the possible exception of the self-serving shower of entitled sh*t we have running and milking this country) is an improvement. So far I’m rather pleased with the Biden/Harris re-engagement with the world, their addressing of science, climate issues, of course they’re not perfect but the world does already feel like a slightly better place. Trump sure duped a lot of people and no I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the scumbag or the people who we’re empowering him or his dangerous right wing arsehole of a son and their manipulating of people for their own ends so yes I expect I will be painting more…
